Anita Briem hails from Iceland. The most popular character she has played is Hannah who she played on the film Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) and her role as Jane Seymour in the TV show The Tudors. Briem was first introduced to acting when she was 9 years old in the National Theater in Iceland. When she was a young actress she participated in various plays broadcast on radio and television from her homeland of Iceland. Briem at the age of 16 went to London and performed in her first production, Lenin In Love at The New End Theater. At 19 years of age, Briem was accepted at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, where she continued to study for three years. It was here that she obtained a degree in Drama and the John Barton Prize in the category of Scenic Fight. At RADA it was the place where she performed in a variety of plays, including The Cherry Garden of Anton Chekhov in addition to Bernarda Alba's House by Federico Garcia Lorca. Briem following his graduation from RADA, continued to work in London theater. He participated in Catalog of Misunderstanding at the National Theater Studio directed by Mike Figgis, as well as the highly successful 5-month West End run of Losing Louis. Anisa Butt is A British actress from Indian film and TV that also appears on television is commonly referred to as Anisa.
