Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is a famous American actress. She's appeared in a variety of TV and film shows, such as "Christy" which is a story of a girl named Christy Huddleston. Other notable roles include her title character in The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin is the daughter of a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher began her professional career acting at the age of seven. Her aunt, who was a nanny to Michael Landon's children was able to help Martin get a part in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". When she graduated at Yale University she began to become serious about acting, landing roles on both the small and large screen. Martin as well as acting, she is also a skilled photographer and dancer. Her sister, who died of Lupus at the age of 19, led her to becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
